Login Game, Lockscreen Idea, and New Releases

I’m trying something new - posting daily about what I’m working on, ideas I’m having, where my head’s at. Not sure if I’ll stick with it but figured I’d start and see.

Login Game

A while back I made a login game - a login page where you had to figure out how to actually log in. Last night I came back to it with a new version: a page full of fake Login buttons scattered everywhere. You have to find the real one.

Still a simple concept but I think there’s something fun here. The login screen is a moment everyone interacts with and no one thinks about.

Lockscreen Game

This idea was randomly spurred from a random piece of internet humor I remember seeing ages ago.

iPad disabled for 25 million minutes

Something about the absurdity of that got me thinking: what if the lockscreen itself was the game? Instead of a passcode or a swipe, you’d play a small game to unlock your phone. But careful - guess wrong and you’ll get disabled. Still early on this one but the idea has legs.

New Releases

This morning I pushed re-releases for two projects:

  • Goal Reader - re-released to fix the jump on the new start page
  • AntiDoom - submitted and currently under review for official release on the Chrome Web Store

More releases coming through the pipe soon. Trying to ship things faster and get them out into the world rather than sitting on half-finished work.
